The latest Galen Films production follows 13-year-old Emmanuel Wambua as he is rescued and brought to a home for abandoned children. The film examines the plight of 100 million children around the world raising themselves on the streets. Principal photography has been completed in Brazil, Kenya, India, and Mexico.
Post-production will be complete in the summer of 2008 and the film is to be released in September 2008

STOLEN CHILDHOODS will be screened on April 25th at 7pm for the conference at Drew Univerisity in Madison, New Jersey. A Q&A with the filmmakers will follow the screening. The conference is hosted by Drew University's Master of Arts Teaching Program and the International Center on Child Labor and Education.
STOLEN CHILDHOODS is to run on UNAM-TV in Mexico on April 24th, the International Day of the Child, with a Spanish narration by Ofelia Medina.
